Kimbra’s love for children started long ago with her own family when she became a mother of five, including a set of triplets! As a West Coast native, Kimbra began her career in professional childcare in Temecula, California where she opened a home-based licensed daycare.  After 12 years of growing that business into a large successful in-home private preschool, like many other entrepreneurs, she was forced into closure when the pandemic of 2020 hit and she lost her business. At that time most of her grown children were living in Charleston, South Carolina so she decided to relocate here and was lucky enough to purchase an existing childcare center on Johns Island where her local journey began. She poured her heart and passion into that space and it grew! Fast forward to the present, she has adopted a mission to help as many families as possible by building a chain of boutique childcare centers that provide safe,  reliable care and memorable experiences for young children. She now divides her time between her Childcare Centers and spending time with her children and 7 grandchildren!
