Located on Maybank Highway near the Main Road intersection, our Johns Island Center is housed in an intimate one-story quaint brick office building set against an expansive open grass field framed by a canopy of trees. Our 1,700 sq ft. space has four classrooms, two bathrooms, a Director’s office and a welcome lobby that boasts personal cubbies for each of our students, a sign-in area for child attendance, a complimentary “to go” coffee station for busy parents and a large, sparkling aquarium which is home to our friendly center greeter, “Chicken Nugget” the blood parrot fish. With a Center Capacity of only 45 students, we are intimate, personal and cozy.
Outdoors
Outdoors, we have ample parking with designated drop-off and pick-up spots, adjacent to a private exterior entrance. A fenced playground is nestled in the rear yard that enjoys shade from a large oak tree in its center. The yard is divided in half, providing two individual play areas – one for our toddlers and one for our preschoolers. Both have age and size-appropriate equipment with comfort and safety being main priorities.

With high quality care and an individualized, interactive developmental program for children ages 6 weeks through 4 years, our Johns Island Center provides the feel and flavor of an extended-family environment that has won us a 5-star reputation with the residents of the island community we serve.
All diapers, pull-ups, wipes and cream as well as two snacks each day are provided and included as a part of tuition.
